Stop the ACLU!

They went after the war memorial on top of Mount Soledad ... and they won.

You already know the ACLU has declared an all-out war on symbols of Christianity and our national religious heritage across America. No Ten Commandments monument is safe!

But they aren't stopping there. Now, they have attacked a symbol of remembrance - a sacred memorial to our heroes of war ... just because it happens to be shaped in the form of a cross!

Because of their persistence, a U.S. District Court judge has ruled that San Diego's Mount Soledad cross must be removed ... or a stiff fine of $5,000 per day will be enforced.

To the ACLU, the cross is not a sacred reminder of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their all for our nation. Instead, it stands in their way as they attempt to remove every vestige of Christianity from our nation.

We cannot sit back and simply allow this ruling to stand without a fight. If we do ... we will lose MORE than one cross on one hill in San Diego! No cross will be spared, no war memorial left untouched.

So today, we need all of our members across the country to rise up with us and STOP the ACLU.

We have already embarked on a nation-wide campaign to alert and inform concerned citizens ... and to call on our President, the Governor of California, the Mayor of San Diego, the U.S. Senate Leadership, and San Diego's City Council to implore them to use all legal and lawful means to keep the cross and war memorial in place and STOP this ruling in its tracks.

I have talked with the Mayor of San Diego on our radio broadcast. We told him that we will assist the city in any way we can in the legal proceedings. In fact, I have already assembled a senior legal team to file amicus briefs on behalf of our members in support of the city.

Have we come to the place in our country where the simple depiction of a cross - a universal symbol of remembrance - would be illegal? I hope not!

And yet, if we lose this battle for the Mount Soledad Cross ... we lose BIG.

A win for the ACLU in this matter would mean that no war memorial across our country would be safe. Even Arlington Cemetery in Washington, D.C., could be their next target.
